This air-cooled Triumph Trident three-cylinder machine is one of the last to be produced in 1974. The then technically advanced and high-performance new 740 ccm engine was produced together with BSA (who brought the almost identical Rocket 3 onto the market at the time), the final assembly was carried out at Triumph in Coventry.
The T150V was the last version fitted with five gears and a Lockheed front disc brake. Together with the BSA Rocket 3 and the competition, the Honda CB 750, it heralded the beginning of the Superbike era.
The original restored machine here is in technically very good condition, has all the necessary papers and an ASI gold award in Italy.
The Triumph Trident T150V can be viewed in Ostermünchen by prior arrangement. The motorcycle is being sold by Ruote da Sogno and VAT is not reclaimable or applicable. For the de-registration of the Italian papers, an additional 280 euros are payable to Ruote
Due to our friendship with one of the largest dealers of vintage motorcycles in Italy, Ruote da Sogno in Reggio Emilia, we always offer changing, selected classics for sale in the district of Rosenheim.
