Young British designer Ashley Watson is a keen year-round motorcyclist. And fashionably an absolute natural talent, love of detail, almost fanatical. But always with the aim of getting the best out of quality, appearance and functionality. For the Eversholt jacket, for example, he rode his bike more than 4,000 miles all by himself to test and constantly optimize the workmanship under all conditions and weather. Ashley Watson works with various specialist manufacturers in Great Britain and so his products are still entirely made in Great Britain. The forms with a touch of heritage, combined with the most modern functionality of the materials, have top priority for him - without the things looking high-tech. This is motorcycle clothing as it should be! We look forward to seeing many more masterpieces from him.
Over the past year, filmmaker Asami Ohkubo followed the development of the Eversholt jacket from initial sketch through testing to production. In this film, Ashley Watson discusses his approach to motorcycle apparel design. What inspires him and the whole very interesting process when he develops a product.
