Hen's Teeth is a colloquial expression from the USA, very common in the mid-19th century, for the impossible, non-existent or at least difficult to find. And that is exactly how it is with this small Italian manufacturer. It will never mass-produce goods industrially and the few dealers in Europe and Japan are also hand-picked by the two founders. But that is not the only reason why Hen's Teeth products are the perfect choice for "exclusive and rare".
Davide discovered his passion for music and, above all, painting at an early age. Even as a child, he was always drawing everywhere. He studied art and spent ten years honing his knowledge of old painting techniques in a restoration workshop, and soon developed his own style. He later lived in California and refined his art to the point of having his own exhibitions in the USA and Mexico. His other great passion, motorcycling, always accompanied and influenced him. This passion can also be found again and again in the Hen's Teeth collections.
Through constant contact with the denim industry, in search of old vintage graphics, he quickly found enthusiasm for authentic, timeless fashion. Thanks to the intensive collaboration with Antonio Battista for the denim brand Blue Blanket, he was able to gain deep insights. And so Davide Biondi began to combine his personal passions: drawing, motorcycling and making clothes. Together with his partner Marianna Calabrese, he founded his own brand.
