From 1962 to 1978 Ducati Scrambler models were offered with single-cylinder four-stroke engines, vertical shaft and desmodromic valve control. The Scramblers were developed for the American market as the 350 SS and 350 SCR and were only later sold in Europe. It is the template for the modern scramblers with V2 four-stroke engines that will be reintroduced in 2014.
The original 1975 Ducati Scrambler 350 offered here has been conservatively restored and is in good working condition. Only the tank should be resealed and the chain shortened.
It has the original 340cc single cylinder SOHC based on the Ducati 350 Sport Corsa Desmo racing engines. Around 11,500 Ducati Scrambler 350 left the factory in Bologna.
