Maxlrain or shine – We ride! Das war das MaxlRIDE MOTOFESTIVAL 2024

Maxlrain or shine – We ride! That was the MaxlRIDE MOTOFESTIVAL 2024

What an incredible weekend we experienced at the MaxlRIDE Motofestival 2024 here in Maxlrain! From August 23rd to 25th, the entire 92,000 square meter site of the Schlossbrauerei Maxlrain became the meeting place for almost 5,000 enthusiastic bikers from all over Europe to celebrate their passion.

The weather kept us on our toes - rain during the setup, blazing heat on Friday and Saturday and again downpours on Sunday, but that didn't dampen our spirits. The enthusiasm and shared joy of motorcycling outshone every change in the weather, in keeping with this year's motto "Maxlrain or shine - We ride!".

A special highlight were the more than 1,500 test drives with the latest models from BMW Motorrad, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Ineos Grenadier, Royal Enfield, Triumph Motorcycles and Yamaha. It was fantastic to see how you put the bikes through their paces. Whether on one of the four off-road courses, on the road or on the gravel tours.

The 35 workshops and inspiring travel talks enabled each of us to learn something new and be inspired by the adventures and experiences of others. It was a pleasure to listen to Armin Thalhofer, Bela Elbich, Charley Sinewan, Martin Bruckner, MiLi Weltenbummler, Mario Steiner, Niels-Peter Jensen, Peter Jörg, Sebastian Meyer, The 8hundreds and many more.

The audience was amazed by the spectacular show of the trial freestyle professional Adrian Guggemos. The off-road taster training sessions by High Enduro End, TWTMoto and special training by women for women. Gerhard Forster also gave instruction with BMW rental motorcycles and Ralf Wiesenfeller with Harley-Davidson Pan Americas. The 40 guided trips through the Bavarian Alpine foothills by Ballerrosso on gravel paths and 16 volunteer guides on road and gravel were fully booked throughout. The Kids Trial Course, which was set up and supervised by the 1st Trial Club Munich, was also very well received.

The brand and dealer mile on the Schlosswiese was even more varied and international than last year, with 72 brands and countless bikes, with exhibitors from Norway and even Namibia. In the new Makers Camp, artists, designers and tattoo artists showed off their skills, including the founder of Trip Machine Company who flew in from India. One visitor from England was so impressed by everything that he had our Bad & Bold logo tattooed on his hand.

On Friday and Saturday evening, the bands The Next Chapter from Kassel, Vollgas Jonni from Munich and, above all, the band Jimmy Cornett & The Deadmen, well-known in the motorcycle scene, got everyone celebrating.

Due to the heavy rain in the days before the event, the campsite had to be replanned shortly beforehand so that the camper vans could get a drivable surface under their wheels. A large number of the 800 permitted camping guests arrived on Thursday afternoon and evening and ensured a good atmosphere right from the start.

We would like to thank each and every one of you - the participants, the 110 volunteers, the exhibitors and of course our loyal Bad and Bold customers who make this festival possible. And when we see all these pictures with the many smiling faces, we think we did a lot of things right.

With such a strong foundation after just the second edition and the continued support of the motorcycle community, the future of the MaxlRIDE Motofestival looks promising. We look forward to hosting another spectacular festival next year, from August 22nd to 24th, 2025 , and establishing ourselves as a highlight in the European motorcycle event calendar.
